Tara Scroggins, Miss Warner Robins 2010, is the daughter of Thomas and Janice Scroggins. A Warner Robins native, she is currently a sophomore at Georgia Southern University and is working on obtaining a double bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics. Upon completing her undergraduate work, she plans to enter law school to become a civil law attorney. She graduated in 2008 from Houston County High School with Honors, which she has continued throughout her first two years of college. She has received numerous scholastic and academic awards through the years and is a 2nd year HOPE scholarship recipient. She is involved with the Student Civic Engagement program at GSU as well as a member of the Political Science Club.

Her platform of volunteerism is a passion of hers, as she always finds time to get involved with projects in Warner Robins and Statesboro. This year she plans to expand her vision of volunteerism throughout Warner Robins, especially with the youth. She believes that if the youth become involved earlier in life, they will be more likely to consciously make a difference as adults. This year she hopes to work with organizations such as Children's Miracle Network, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Salvation Army, among others. She is a member of Harvest Methodist Church where she is a group leader in the children's ministry program.

Tara enjoys tap dancing, which she performs as her pageantry talent. Outside of dance she enjoys modeling, surfing, tennis, and of course shopping. She has also held other pageant titles such as Miss Houston County High 2007, Teen Miss Georgia Cherokee Rose, and Teen Miss Georgia Princess. Tara always finds time to spend with the people she cares about the most. She is very close to her family and sees them as her support and reason for being successful. Tara wants to especially thank her parents for supporting her every endeavor and being her biggest fans for almost 20 years now.

She is so excited and honored to represent her beautiful hometown of Warner Robins. She wants to give a special thanks to her amazing and supportive board as she begins her reign as Miss Warner Robins 2010.
