Taylor Peterson - Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen 2010
Taylor Peterson is the 13 year old daughter of Jon and Lorie Peterson of Kathleen Ga. She is an eighth grade Honor Student at Mossy Creek Middle School and is involved in Partners Club and Drama Club. Taylor enjoys spending time participating in pageants, volunteering with the Houston County Humane Society and is an active member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She is a regular Nursery Attendant and Helping Hands Christmas Dinner volunteer. In addition, Taylor was an 8th Congressional District, campaign election volunteer. She has been in many local theatre productions including “Miracle on 34th Street” “Tis the Season”, “A Night at the Follies” and “School House Rock.” Taylor has been studying piano for nine years and was the Talent Award winner at Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen 2010. She was also the recipient of Honorable Mention in Central Georgia Music Scholarship Competition 2009. She will compete for the title of Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen in Columbus next June. Taylor promotes a platform entitled “Friends of the Library.” Friends of the Library are volunteers who share the belief that a strong public library is a priceless resource to the community. Her focus is to get more teens involved in volunteering in their local libraries and help support the yearly Friends of the Library book sale. Taylor’s future plans include attending Georgia College & State University to earn a degree in Theatre. She would love to teach and act on Broadway. |
